After AVR DDS3 fail (You can see here why) to finish. I am thinking of moving on with next version.

I am partially satisfied with AVR DDS v2 which works OK. But there are lots of design flaws and most of them are analog part related. Signal conditioning, offset setting were poor. No filtering on output leading to high noise. Software also needs some touch. Of course with single micro it is hard to achieve smooth menu navigation and fast signals. but it is possible at some level.

With DDS v3 the initial task on improving analog has been done. Some minor tweaks may be needed according to some feedback. Also better work on PCB layout is necessary.

I want it to very simple (one micro Atmega328P), with better analog signal conditioning and probably some software tweaks to squeeze better performance.

Also I need to look for better power supply solution.

One possible power supply solution is: DIY USB Boost Single Turn Dual Power Module Linear Regulators Multiple Output Power Kit http://forum.banggood.com/forum-topic-123630.html

Just ordered one to see if it will be any good for powering DDS.

Tested power board. It seems to be OK.
