The Evolution History of Walking Robots
Do you know that the first robot had emerged in the Western after the end of Second World War?
However, the robot research only rapidly growing in the 70’s and again, it has suddenly stopped, due to the worldwide controversial issue. The research of Walking Robots begins to live again in the early 90’s.

“We now mainly focused on the aspect of robot’s walking, which this part considered as one of the tough and hardest part that needed to overcome first,” Said Dr Martijn Wisse, a robotic expert from the Delft Biorobotics Lab at TU Delft.
TU Delft is the pioneer that will plays important role in making walking robot, based on the human walking motion.
The robotic researches try to renovate and innovate a new generation of walking robots. This new robot expected to have a more fluid, and energy-efficient walk of humans.
“Although it’s will take times, but we confident enough that we will managed to invent a walking robot, which have numerous types of walking related motions,” Said Dr Martijn Wisse. The “Robot Century” will soon arrive… [Source]
