Mouse Trap – how to catch a mouse effectively
-->Have you ever wondered from where these entire mice come from? Having problems with those little mice? The mouse traps may provide a solution. There are various types of mouse traps. The spring-loaded mouse traps are one of the old model mouse traps. This kind of mouse traps was introduced by William C. Hooker from Abingdon Illinois. He received awards for his model. Sir Hirams Stevens Maxim invented the traditional type mouse trap. The traditional type looks very simple. It just consists of a spring-loaded piece and bolt to release it. As usual, the cheese is placed on the bolt as bait. Anything which can bring the mouse’s attention can be used. Even chocolates work well. But having grown in technologies, one would think about mechanical mouse traps. Yes, there are various types of mouse traps.
Traditional traps:
The traditional type is aimed at the mouse’s spinal cord. But rats are not aimed by these traditional traps because these are quite big in size. New spring traps are more effective. These are fitted with plastic trigger which exactly resembles a piece of Swiss cheese. Now many modern traps have been discovered. These have many advantages. The dead mouse can be removed from the mouse trap without even touching it. These plastic mouse traps can be set for operation with a single finger on the trip. But people must be too cautious about this type of mouse traps. It can harm humans severely. A mousetrap which is light in weight and which consists of jaws which is operated with a coiled spring is called a mouth-type mousetrap. It has the bait inside its jaws. The triggering mechanism is used inside the jaws. When the mouse enters the jaws, the triggering mechanism makes the jaws to close, which results in the death of the mouse.
Electric and several other types
Even electrical mousetraps are available. This is the most recent invention. This delivers a fatal amount of electricity, when the mouse makes the electrodes meet each other. They meet only when the bait which is placed between the entrance or at either side of the entrance. This is a lot safer than the traditional mouse traps, because it does not injure humans or pets. If you thing you want catch the mouse but not injure it, then the live-catching mouse traps can be used. This does not harm the mouse, but if the mouse is not promptly released, it may die. The mouse may die of dehydration or stress. But no can guarantee the life of the mouse after it has been released from this type of mousetraps. Glue traps are more effective.
These types of mouse traps can be removed from the trap by some vegetable oil or some other oil over it. These types of traps are made of synthetic or natural cardboard or plastic trays or the sort. But in this type of mouse traps the death of the mouse is very slow. Anyways there are lot ways to stop the reign of mouse in our houses.
