I want to connect a Roland DXY-1300 plotter to my Windows 7 laptop.
But I can’t find a proper USB – RS232 interface with the correct output voltages. This DIY USB to RS232 adapter is the one I need! Where can I buy one or how can I place an order for such a device? Kind regards, Dick van Fulpen, Houten (NL).

good day

I built the generator according to your design, but I have a problem with functionality.
Output pin 33, resistor R3 100K signal is okay with the level of 4.5V.
For the resistor R3 is but 8V DC value.
I do not know where the problem is, all I have checked my connection and několiktár correctly.
According to me is something wrong in the area of operational amplifiers.
Can anyone help?

Hello everybody,
Anyone who has a weird problem which his LCD does not work without any reason, should disable JTAG in his microcontroller fuses. It took me 2 days to discover!

There could also be a further improvement of this scheme by using dual-color (red/green) LEDs instead of each of the reverse-direction pair of “normal” LEDs. In this case you could alternate pulses to the LEDs and, thanks to our persistence of vision, you can add a third color – yellow – as yet another indicator.

So, in a sense, you would create 9 possible states of indication: 3 LEDs, each capable of showing 3 different colors.

I intend to use adc and usart part of atmega32. I have already programmed the same without changing any fuse bits and it works perfectly fine so i suppose its using internal 1Mhz clock, but using this i am able to get only 4800 baud maximum and i want to have 9600 baud. So i need to use internal 4Mhz clock atleast. Please suggest me necessary changes i need to make in code and elsewhere. I am using avrstudio for coding and usb programmer for programming. I have interfaced lm35 through adc and it is working so will changing the clock speed affect that? Please reply as soon as possible. Thanking you
