Augmented reality also referred to as the AR is a concept that is used to view the corporal world either directly or indirectly. When viewing the world this way, the essentials are practically computer created imaginary things thus creating diverse certainty. The augmentation of the world is viewed in the actual time and in semantic situation with ecological basics like soccer scores on television in mind. AR (Augmented reality) works hand in hand with technology to make the physical world networked and technologically working. Among the augmented realities that are incorporated with technology includes computer image and entity identification. Any non-natural detail about the surrounding and the images are capable of being stored and thereafter recovered as information concerning the real world.

Augmented reality has continued to get impetus as the years and technology advances. The most recent use of the augmented reality was used in the testing of the United States Marine Corps on a resistant steeple. The system that was used was called ARMAR (Augmented Reality for Maintenance and Repair) was designed and made at the Columbia University’s Graphics and user Interface laboratory. A mobile phone was used to view and manage the graphics in conjunction with a head built display that assists its users in repairing it. The augmented reality in industry was designed to use 3D motion picture that assisted in the exhibition of the appropriate gadgets and methods in a variety of repairs. Up to date, this system is still being used by the military personnel and has proven to be very beneficial.

Due to the augmented reality in industry the current businesses are likely to improve their performance. The technology has proven to be very important in the current running of most industries. Different program modules can be used on the different augmented reality hardware systems. Some of the available programs that are available in the augmented reality in industry include;

• Educational programs. The program can be used as private trainers whereby the teacher and student can communicate to one another through displays, talking and performance. This is one of the best ways that can be used to enhance performance in schools.
• Entertainment: through the augmented reality systems, people will enjoy themselves. This can be attained by the use of the augmented academic presentations, augmented video games, and movies among others.
• Mental health. Medical practitioners and consultants at times prefer to use the augmented reality program s to help their patients or clients cope with their conditions. Discussion with their families, speaking in the public relationship with the opposite sex has been dealt with through the assistance of the augmented reality program.
• Location. The augmented reality program can and is being used in the libraries where users can easily locate and retrieve documents, icon and pictures, movies and sound, echo and noises.

Computer/human being borders. Through the augmented reality, the world has been opened up for technology. For instance, the computer can be placed anywhere in your compound including your backyard.
